Why do babies smell so good after coming out of a vagina with gunk on them? In a bloody environment?

Have YOU SEEN a baby when it comes out? It's covered in gunk and placental goo. Is it icky to smell them? Why do babies smell so good after coming out of a vagina with gunk on them? In a bloody environment?
Babies smelling good is an evolutionary trait that started millions of years ago. It was used so mothers wouldn't eat their young.
Ewww...?
I didnt know u had a hobby of smelling new born babies
i would think it's an awful smell because it's living in someones insides, but the reason they smell so good after wards is because it has been cleaned. When your body begins to stink, what do you do to get rid of the smell?...you wash up right!
Because they are coming out of a clean environment. The mother and baby are usually healthy and therefore there is nothing to be smelly. The only things foul smelling are things that are rotting / decomposing. Having a baby is a natural part of the BEGINNING of life, NOT THE END!!
Absolutely NOT, the environment (womb) is very sterile they come from. They are floating in sterile fluid, not in a bloody environment. Old blood smells, fresh blood doesn't. The vagina should also be clean and sterile at delivery.
