because sex isn't just a physical act. there are a lot of emotions involved which younger people are not mature enough to handle. there are also a lot of consequences that come with it that you couldn't deal with.pregnancy...stds...and others. just because you are ready physically does not mean you are ready mentally or financially.
they can - legally it depends on where you live
in nz the legal age for sex is 16 which i think is fair
sex requires a bit of maturity and understand, and people any younger i spose could be vulnerable and fall prey to older predators
with society the way it is an adolescent cannot support a child on their own and if they did have a child it would be very difficult to raise only being a child yourself
It's not about the Private parts....
It's if an Adolescent is mature enough to handle an Adult emotional experience with Adult actions!
Unprotected sex = GhanaHerpiSiphillAids and....... Children...
You could not handle either as an adolescent!
The most important sexual organ is the brain and that is the one thing an adolescent is lacking..maturity. Sex is so much more than intercourse and orgasms. if you have been on this site enough you I'm sure you have read the "could I be pregnant" post. Or the I had sex w/ him and now he won't talk to me etc... Wait until your mature enough to handle all the baggage that comes w/ sex. Trust me you Will enjoy it so much more.
